Goldenvoice approached Shaw with the ambitious Quasar concept in late January — a mere four months before the festival. With no time to spare, her team leaned into creativity and innovation. "The nature of it being so last minute allowed us to get really innovative," Shaw shared.

Unlike Coachella's high-energy Sahara stage, Quasar is tailor-made for extended DJ sets lasting up to three to four hours — a rare treat for EDM fans. Longer sets mean DJs can craft a full musical arc, from hypnotic build-ups to euphoric drops — no more racing through just the biggest hits.
